Tempest in a tea cup

My, my, my how the attacks innuendo and threats have hit and hit big, on and more so off this blog, since I launched this little site. I guess some people don't want the sunshine in their dark little secret corner .I should have known I have been told roaches run when the lights come on. Okay, for the record some dems have been very nice helpful and encouraging to me but others fear being exposed for what they are say and do. I guess the truth hurts when it looks you in the mirror and some people don't want the truth out. Sorry I guess I missed the memo. A great story once told of a man who charged at wind mills. He was often warned that if he charged at the windmills the wind mills would swing down their great arms and send him down into the mire.....or up among the stars. If this blog is to be my pony I say charge!! Wind mills ahead!!

  5. Right on. All elected officials should blog for the people every day. Good job.

If it was up to me, I'd make it the law that every elected official be required to blog a report for the people every day.

    Good leadership Stacey Campfield.

  8. Wasted time . . . Time that we citizens of TN pay for . . . with bloated sales taxes . . . the poor state of TN is becoming a Republican run state . . . Ranked in the mid forties in education, people leaving the state with money for big ticket items. TN has been in the union for how long? Rep. Stacey "running man" Campfield has nothing better to do than make a blog to point out his partisan views. They must have taught that in his courses from Phoenix "Online" University. His style of tennis shoes must be left over from his days cutting grass to buy his vending machines. Way to go Rep! You made an impression. I bet your interns dress more respectfully than you do. We don’t have enough money to even take care of sick people in this state. He is guilty of wasting tax money . . . so are these interns that felt that they have the wisdom to share their views with everyone. I, a few years ago was an intern in New Hampshire, we had to jump through hoops and walk on eggshells for the lowly intern position. It was known that an intern was to be just that. {Http: //blogs.knoxnews.com/knx/silence/} We were taught that we were reflections of whom we were interning with. So I guess this Alysha0 is with Speaker Naifeh? (This intern has perpetuated the fact that the speaker diverted a bill from Campfield to a committee, somewhere. What about the bill in contention? No one is even speaking about the merits of the bill. WAKE UP PEOPLE!) Did the speaker sanction this behavior? Wow! I don’t really think he needs someone that is ignorant as an intern. The absence of any logic from linkn22, has to be an intern too. If I were in control of these interns, they would be sent home. Not because they spoke their mind, but because they did it on state time. Will the behavior from Rep. Campfield and these interns be a new aspect of the government in TN? Is there not any person from Campfield’s district that could represent them with more articulation and wisdom? There are probably plenty of college kids who would take an internship in the TN state capitol seriously. In my opinion these interns are not very bright. If they were smart, they would have disguised themselves. Is this the best TN has to offer? Is this the future of TN? Ignorant Interns? Legislators like Rep. Stacey "the king is naked" Campfield? Just remember you republicans, you have a freshman legislator that is sitting in his office wasting his time and taxpayer’s money, which we don’t have enough of. It would be great if the incoming legislators were inspirational, instead of divisive. I guess the message for the freshman legislator and the interns is that it is not noble to 1) waste people’s hard earned money 2)not be grateful to be in the position you were lucky enough to fill 3) not be an inspiration to bring people together, and to pull them apart.

  9. Obviously, for crying out loud has no concept of the timestamp. The two bloggers which he refers as interns have a timestamp on their posts around 6:30 am. State business begins at 8 am. Your post was somewhere in mid-afternoon. Perhaps you are wasting the state's time. I think the argument for the blog was made in calendar and rules last thurday...

  10. I think this is an absolutely great idea. All our reps. shoould be doing something like this as it tends to lead to some accountability which is sirely neede as is evidenced by the current Ford scandels. Keepo up the good work. If hte other legislators have a problem witht he light shining in then let them shine thier own light

  11. Dear For Crying Out Loud,
Have you ever held office? It appears that you have, because you treated your interns like they were slaves. Are you aware that is a crime? Anyway, Mr. Campbell is allowed to do what he needs to do to keep in touch with his constituants.

You are not a very nice person. I did not know his political leanings, but you keep calling him a Republican. Do you know him?

If you are worried about the people who do not have medical care, I would suggest you MOVE to TN! They are the only one of the states that have your so beloved socialist health care. See? It does not work. Eutopia seldom does.

If you would like to offer some advice, suggestions on how to fix some problems, that would be a much better approach. Get angry happens. Doing something about takes leadership. Part of leadership means you need to be involved in the community. Yes, this is even done during business hours.

We need to meet with people who are not in politics. It helps to stay focused, aware, and helpful. Have a good day.

  12. Dear Mr. Campbell,
Another very good post. I like keeping informed. Would you mind putting an HB on it? We could then pressure the rest of the House! You may look at my blog to find that I do this. Here is an example. Maybe you could introduce a bill like this! Hehehe.

I know you have thick skin, because you ran for office. Every once in a while, it's nice to have people on your side. Have a great day.

  14. for crying out loud spit out, "Wasted time"

    What's "wasted time"?

Time that we citizens of TN pay for

What are you talking about? You don't say.

    with bloated sales taxes

    You don't say...

the poor state of TN is becoming a Republican run state

With "bloated sales" taxes and TennCare? Are you kidding me? Seems like it's headed towards a liberal utopia.

Ranked in the mid forties in education, people leaving the state with money for big ticket items. TN has been in the union for how long?

Yep. Sounds like more of that liberal utopia. Funny how it never seems to work out, huh?

Rep. Stacey "running man" Campfield has nothing better to do than make a blog to point out his partisan views.

Hilarious! My suggestion to you: if you don't like it then take a hike!

They must have taught that in his courses from Phoenix "Online" University.

    Immature insult.

His style of tennis shoes must be left over from his days cutting grass to buy his vending machines. Way to go Rep! You made an impression. I bet your interns dress more respectfully than you do.

More immature insults. You're not doing so hot on your message. That is...if you have one.

We don’t have enough money to even take care of sick people in this state.

Yes. That's always the result of Marxist policies.

He is guilty of wasting tax money . . .

Who are you talking about? You don't say.

Just remember you republicans, you have a freshman legislator that is sitting in his office wasting his time and taxpayer’s money, which we don’t have enough of.

Uh. Yeahsurewhatever. If you are going to make these kinds of charges, at least tell us what you're talking about.

It would be great if the incoming legislators were inspirational, instead of divisive.

And it would be great if I didn't have to decipher your comment. But the world isn't perfect.

I guess the message for the freshman legislator and the interns is that it is not noble to 1) waste people’s hard earned money 2)not be grateful to be in the position you were lucky enough to fill 3) not be an inspiration to bring people together, and to pull them apart.

And NOWHERE in your rambling illiterate comment did you show, prove, or even give examples of said behavior.
