Pinion quits

State Rep. Phillip Pinion (Father of the toll road tax) has decided to call it quits. Word is he was not having fun any more. I had spoken with him last year and he said he was probably not going to run again. I was sort of surprised when he picked up his petition and turned it in. Two Democrats had already filed in the primary before he dropped out so he was facing a race. Because of his late pull out the deadline for new candidates to file will be extended( I think another 10 days) so new candidates can get in.
