Rob Briley took a "shot across the bow" at the media and people who blog in his retirement speech. It went along the lines of "Just because it is written does not make it true. Just because it is true does not mean it should be written."

He went on to say along the lines of "If we don't watch out we will lose that right" I guess he was mad about blogs and the press reporting his legal issues of the last year but I think his threat will have a tough time when it gets to that pesky constitution. The city paper has more.

It was almost hilarious when the first bill after the speech was a bill increasing the penalty on people who leave the scene of an accident.
