As my Facebook friends know I am in NY visiting family. I was reading the local paper about the legislature in NY and their per diem system. It was interesting in that legislators only receive full per diem when they stay the night. Otherwise it is about a third. Same if a legislator lives within 50 miles 1/3 per diem.
Not bad ideas.
