What? The multi million dollar bio fuel refinery is
not producing private sector jobs, quality research results or profitability? Who would ever have thought that? Next thing you know you will be saying all those solar farms we set up aren't making money either.
Do the math on Tom's story about the solar farm in Haywood County. It takes 45 years to pay back at current retail electricity rates - if there is zero maintenance or repair required over those 45 years. That's just for the direct $31 million stimulus funds and doesn't count the other millions for advertising and training.
