In last nights special election to replace Diane Black the TEA really wanted to make an example of Kerry Roberts. They did two targeted mail pieces going after him on collective bargaining claiming he would be bad for education. His opponents wife was a union organizer for the teacher union.
They wanted to make it a referendum on education reform.
It was.
Roberts 67% Wilber 33%.
Roberts won every precinct except his opponents home precinct that he lost by a whopping 1 vote.
