Memphis is a deadbeat parent

Let me tell you a little story of a parent called "Memphis". Memphis was all hot to have a baby and raise it up in his own way. He talked to the girl next door, got married and had a pretty little baby. It was cute and cuddly but after the baby was born, Memphis realized there was work involved in raising a child and diapers were not cheap. Both parents were somewhat active with the child but Memphis liked the party nightlife more then the work in the morning. After a while, arguments ensued and money for the baby stopped coming.

The girl next door was not too pleased and went to court to get child support. Memphis agreed the child was his, but didn't want to pay for it any longer. He complained when he cared for the child, the baby didn't do what he wanted and was cranky. He said he was willing to turn full custody of the child over to the mother so he did not think he should have to pay anything. The court decided otherwise. Memphis had to pay.

Memphis went into a rage.

He no longer wanted to pay the support payments. What could he do? Memphis gave up the child, the court said he still owed.

Memphis tried to shake the debt by divorce, the court said he still owed.

Memphis figured the last hope would be to fake his death, get a new social security number and change his name. He figured the court would not be able to hold him accountable then. But the court found out his plan and said, while he could change his name and possibly get a new social security number (in time) they still expected the child support payments.

Memphis was at a loss for what to do next.
