No preference for unions

The bill removing the requirement that a only a paying TEA union member may be appointed to the Tennessee consolidated retirement system board has passed 20-13. Party line vote with all those voting no being Democrats.

The union battles are on.

Who is the party of No?

  1. Did you word that correctly? Surely, the vote was FOR removing the requirement that board members be TEA members.
