"Monkey Bill" Dunn has said he has given up reading my blog for lent. Bill, You are supposed to give up BAD things. Not good ones.
Any way, his "critical thinking" bill passed in the house education committee yesterday.
It is funny how the left likes to compare it to the the Scopes monkey trial. While their may be a similarity, it is not in the way the left likes to present it. As you may recall, the Scopes case was against a teacher that taught a different point of view than was allowed at the time. The left fought saying other points of view should be allowed to encourage critical thinking in young adults. Now that their point of view is being taught they think no other point of view should be allowed.
John Deberry gave the quote of the day when he laid the biblical wood to a Vandy professor who thought only one point of view should be taught.
