Quote of the day (social issues)

“When it comes to conservative social issues, it saddens me when sometimes my fellow Republicans duck and cover under pressure from the left. Let’s speak with pride about our morals and our values and redouble our efforts to elect more conservative Republicans. Let’s stop this downward American spiral."

Texas Governor Rick Perry

  1. Trite remark from a Bilderberg attendee.

How moral is it to let TSA agents grope people? Perry is only finally encouraging the TSA bill because he's contemplating running for Pres.

BTW, who gets to define what is moral? Government should work to assist in the protection of rights, not sumptuary laws that fail to make people moral through force.

  2. This is pretty big talk from Al Gore's former 1988 TX campaign manager. He leased out TX roads to foreign countries and spearheaded North American Union preparations. It's not socially conservative to imply that all of Texas' daughters are whores and need STD vaccinations at age 11 by force of his executive order.

This man is scum. He can recite a pretty speech, but we'll not be fooled anymore.
