A protest where a person carries a banana in a holster for open carry rights in California is legal. That same type of protest on a Tennessee college campus is illegal. Students are forbidden from carrying or displaying anything that might resemble a gun on campus.
Do you really believe the fallout when that case was drug before the courts? Student carrying banana expelled over First Amendment and Second Amendment protest. It would suit me just fine, the courts and press would be forced to look at how foolish our policies (fake laws) look to the general public.
