Anti litter bill killed

My bill to stop litter was killed today in the commerce committee. 2-7. The newspaper industry fought against it saying they thought they should have the right to throw their papers in your yard no matter if you wanted them or not.

  1. We're sorry to hear about this. It was a good idea!

Don't you think that people are just afraid of government having so many restrictions on us that we might start to lose our freedoms?

Like the controversy about people not being allowed to carry guns, in their cars, to work?

  2. We should all take the unwanted papers to the Jack's tin shed and throw them in his yard.

  3. Great!!! Our regulatory burden has not increased. Kudos to the committee. Now do something conservative--find something to deregulate!!!
