Slipped that one by ya

Jack Johnson just passed the SAVE act. What that bill will do is require proof of legal immigration status to get government benefits. Higher ed completely missed this one. For years they have fought my bills requiring the exact same thing for people applying for in state tuition at our higher ed institutions. They always claimed it would cost millions for higher ed to implement. I guess they missed it in this bill as it has no cost expected by higher ed to impliment but it does the exact same thing I have wanted to do for years.
