Unemployment reformed
In a group of 3 bills Sen. Jack Johnson and Rep. Jimmy Matlock passed three major reform of the unemployment laws. Most of the problems were issues noted by Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey on his red tape tour. Issues like having to pay unemployment on known seasonal workers, making sure people who are out of work actually are applying for replacement jobs while out of work and incentivising people to accept jobs possibly at a slightly lower wage after an extended time of unemployment.
