Quote of the day

"The Ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy... Cowardice asks the question – Is it safe? Expedience asks the question – Is it Politic? Vanity asks the question – Is it popular? But Conscience asks the question – Is it right? And there comes a time when a man must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because it is RIGHT!”

  1. It is a great anti-war quote, here is the end of it.

"but he must do it because Conscience tells him it is right. I believe today that there is a need for all people of good will to come together with a massive act of conscience and say in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "We ain't goin' study war no more." This is the challenge facing modern man."

When are people going to see that conservatives are anti-war. We can all take a lesson from MLK, we should've never started these wars to begin with.
