I think this issue came up a year or so ago. Now ABC is reporting on a situation where "Gender identity" laws have gone into play. A man who dresses like woman goes into in girls locker rooms and exposes himself to children.
The school says no big deal and it wont change its policy
“The college has to follow state law,” Evergreen spokesman Jason Wettstein told ABC News affiliate KOMO. “The college cannot discriminate based on the basis of gender identity. Gender identity is one of the protected things in discrimination law in this state.”
Rep. Richard Floyd had a bill to stop this sort of issue but put it off after an uproar over his comments he would "Stomp a mud hole" in a man if he tried to do that to one of his family members.
