Teabo bill passes senate education.

My bill allowing homeschool kids to play TSSAA sports in all Tennessee state schools passed senate education committee today 9 to 0.

I am stoked!!

  1. What were the "health" standards that required the amendment?

    1. You mean where you have to have a medical evaluation/physical unless you don't want to?:

"No student shall be required to submit to a physical exam if his/her parent(s) or legal guardian shall file with the principal a signed, written statement (affirmed under the penalties of perjury)declining such physical examination on grounds of sincerely held beliefs or practices."

I can't find anything else "health" related in their by-laws, and that already applied to all students participating.

Let the whining about "blue-chippers" begin...
