Thought of the day.

How come no one ever says its liberals who are bitterly clinging to their gun control and secular humanism?

  1. Wouldn't there have to be actual gun control to cling to?

  2. Clinging to reason and ethically responsible is somehow wrong?

  3. It's 90% of the population in the US that would like to see better gun control. You're nothing but a spineless puppet catering to the whims of the NRA. What you should fear is your own idiotic mouth. It'll be your worst enemy when you seek reelection. Such an ignoranat and insensitive tool.

    1. The actual number of people in the population that WANT better gun control is actually less than 45%. Don't believe everything your president says. Just because he "says" 90% doesn't make it so.

  4. Because throughout history, every single time, the liberals have won? Maybe because your backwards ideas have, at every turn, lost, lost, and lost again?
    Just my two cents.

  5. Do northern liberals laugh at southern conservatives? Of course; and you're a living demonstration of why we do it.

  6. Got a question for you Mr. "The Bible is my favorite book":

How many guns would Jesus want/need?

Still scratching your head on that one? I am sure he would want more than a 10 round clip for his AK. Dontcha think?

  7. Maybe because we're not 'bitterly' clinging to anything - even as we continue to fight for humanity and humane justice for everyone. Sorry that you see secular humanism and rational gun regulations as a bad thing..shows what a pathetic insensitive person you must be.

  8. You say 'gun control and secular humanism' as of that's a bad thing. I'm proud to be a liberal who fights for...not bitterly clings to..both. If you don't see the value in them, then I pity you as an arrogant and compassionless person.

  9. Because people don't deny people basic rights or shoot doctors over "secular humanism".

    2. You are an idiot. Do you have any idea how many "good Christian girls" have abortions?

  10. Did you happen to notice the words "well regulated" in that 2nd Amendment you're so fond of? I wonder what THAT could possibly mean.

Did you also happen to notice that the word "gun" doesn't appear in the ENTIRE text of the amendment?

    1. Did you happen to notice the words "shall not be infringed"? Did you also happen to notice the words "right to bare ARMS"? I wonder what those could possibly mean

    2. Yeah, and when that amendment was written, the best weapon you could get was a musket that had to be reloaded after every shot. Had the founding fathers foreseen the evolution of weaponry, the probably would have added more provisions.

  11. Why don't you allow public debate - shouldn't you post all comments - not just the ones that you approve? I asked you a pointed question yesterday and you censored it. Is it the position of the Republican Party to now censor debate?

  12. How come? Maybe because those who are not "liberal" are too busy working for a living, taking care of their families, and are a wee bit less judgmental of others.

  13. Do NOT BACK DOWN.... To heck with the Left and there BS Ways... Ther eis no more humor in anything, there is no more points to be made... Its pure and simple hate for the right, Just keep it up, I get it and see no harm in it.... How many died in December? Why did Obama jump in then when so many have died before that horrible day? It's not the guns that shoot.. It's the people behind them... When somebody shows up at the door up a person who does not think handguns and rifles should be allowed and the person showing up has a gun and plows down there family they may see it different.. If we all have guns we can all protect ourselves and make others think before they act.. Guns dont kill people do...

    1. The man and the gun become intimate and they cannot do the act without each other. So the gun is PART of the problem...................

  14. Nice concerned comment about the pressure cooker, pantywaist

  15. Bubba....can you define "secular humanism"? Thought not.

  16. Any comparison regarding gun control and "pressure cooker bombs" reveals deep ignorance, a complete absence of intellect, poor taste, insensitivity and classless commentary. They sure do pick them there in Knoxville. What an embarrassment to the fine people of TN.

  17. Double standard logic: "I think Feinstein would say XX about pressure cookers. That statement would reflect a double standard. Feinstein has a double standard." Get a brain, Senator.

  18. Why is Tollerance a one way street in America?

  19. Now be fair Anonymous. I'm a southern liberal, and I laugh at this buffoon just as much as you do.

  20. Gun control? As soon as we have some--uniform, effective, balanced with the rights of law-abiding gun owners--we'll stop calling for it. "Secular humanism"? What exactly do you mean by that? Have you ever thought about it? I thought people stopped throwing that around about 15 years ago. Read a new book. Your intellect seems to operate at the level of a clever 12-year-old's.

  21. The right wingers carry so much hatred and the followers are such puppeteers. So sad but to be expected.

  22. Way to sock it to the tyrant liberal types Senator Campfeild. Your picture makes perfect sense Senator. That's what liberals like Feinstein will make out of pressure cookers to have them outlawed. Keep it up.

  23. You are such a dumbbbbbbbbbb red neck - would love to see YOU live in the UK or Canada, would be fun to watch all the people laugh at how DUMB you are! (I'm gonna get me a gun and shoot ya'll all!!!)

  24. I live in Tennessee, and I am so tired of my so-called "representatives" caring more about sticking it to "the liberals" and the Obama Administration than they do actually trying to make things better. You serious lack tact and critical thinking skills.
