Here you go.

I regret that some people miss the point of my post. It was not to offend. It was to warn.  To draw attention to Obamacare and the slippery slope that I see occurring in the lives of myself, my constituents, and the rest of the country with the continued taking of freedom by the federal government.

In no way was my post meant to diminish or detract from the pain, suffering and loss of human life that occurred during this dark time in human history. Instead the post was meant to draw attention to the loss of freedom that we are currently experiencing. I stand by my steadfast opposition to Obamacare.

My position and record on the sacredness of human life and protecting that life speaks for itself. 300 million Americans are at risk from government bureaucrats deciding who should be given life saving medications and who should be denied. Every citizen now faces the possibility of their tax dollars going to pay for a government funded abortion. At no point in our history have we ever faced a federal government and administration with a lower regard for human life, and that is something that I cannot and will not allow to go unchallenged.

I will continue to stand up against the government takeover of the nations healthcare. I will continue to support freedom and life.

  1. Every citizen now faces the possibility of their tax dollars (CONTINUING TO) going to pay for a government funded abortion.

That (re)started back under Bill Clinton, then again with No Certificate Sotero as they continued Margaret Sanger's Negro Project with executive orders repealing the "Mexico City Policy".

  4. " I will continue to support freedom and life."

Freedom from health and security? Life of unmitigated misery?

Throw around all the slogans you want Senator, it's the substance far below the surface of them that matters.

  6. Hello,

Since you seem to have a high regard for all human life, would you share your position on the death penalty? Also I'd like to know your position making contraceptives more affordable and available, and increasing education in their usage? Doing so would drastically cut down on abortions, because as I'm sure you know (I hope) , no pregnancy = no abortion. Also, since you are concerned for freedom for all Americans, would you share your position on same sex marriage?

  7. What specifically is your beef with the Affordale Care Act? Do yo also oppose TennCare? MediCare? "The Government" doesn't "decide" who lives or dies, that's a lie.

The ACA you so strongly oppose

    - Ends discrimination based on pre-existing conditions so kids with leukemia cant be thrown off of insurance.

    - It mandates that children up to age 26 are covered on their parents policies.

    - It eliminates lifetime caps so insurance carriers can't kick you off your policy once you get sick.

    - Provides free preventative care to help prevent more serious illness

    - Virtually guarantees that no person will need to be bankrupted due to accident or illness (60% of all bankruptcies are caused by illness or accident)

Why on earth would you oppose these things? Do you like kids getting sick? 46,000 Americans DIE each year because of the lack of medical care. Do they mean nothing? These are your constituents Senator.

  9. Yesterday I found myself in a rush to judgment regarding Stacey's remarks regarding the Holocaust. I was victim of my own assumptions based on what I was hearing on a local radio station and in response posted a not so nice review on my Facebook page to which I was, promptly and understandably so, unfriended. After further research I've come to this conclusion. Stacey's comments and analogy were correct and I should have expressed it that way. There were Jews who were lied to and told they were being taken to a better place and I'm sure there were Germans who made light of the fact that they were being given a ride to their death. I understand the comparison of that and the gullible who blindly follow after Obama and his NOT SO FREE healthcare. Here's the difference. With ObamaCare no one is being purposefully and knowingly being led to their death as were the Jews. Although I'm willing now to admit that I jumped the gun and do so with an attached apology to the Senator, I do so with the warning that I too have spoken out of turn and suffered the consequences. So with that being said I offer this. Although your analogy and attempt was sincere it would do you well to understand that many take the view that using something as horrific as the Holocaust to advance a political argument is diminishing the severity of history. Again Senator I apologize for any offense and will be posting this on my FB page as well.

    1. A worthy post Gordon. Also see "A Film Unfinished" about the German propaganda films of the Warsaw ghettos. We get a lot of the same here.
